Additionally, if you would like to write your own quest, please feel free to talk to us about it.The realm is always in need of brave adventurers. Food

House Cockatrice Meatballs - 5,000 gilThis family recipe for meatballs uses large amounts of local spices to balance the gamey flavour of cockatrice. Noah herself pounds the meat into a fine paste.

Pan-seared Rail Steak - 4,000 gilRail meat from the island bird can seem rather basic. But with our secret blend of herbs and spice, our classic pan-seared rail is quickly becoming realm renown.

Far Eastern Fish Stew - 5,000 gilUsing only the freshest fish imported via aetheryte from our contacts in Hingashi, this stew makes for a hearty and healthy meal. Served with white rice.

Drink

Spiced Clove Cider - 5,000 gilSpices and cloves in particular add a plethora of flavours to this alcoholic drink. Beware though, despite the embellishments, this drink really packs a punch.

Steppe Spring Water - 4,000 gilNothing can quench the thirst quite like plain water. But what more if the water in question comes from the elevated, evergreen steppes of Othard?

Ishgardian Milk Tea - 5,000 gilInstead of boiling tea leaves, this Ishgardian style of preparation instead allows the leaves to steep in hot milk. This presents itself in a more refined flavour for the drink.

BiographyThe current owner of Noah's Ark and the only daughter to the previous owner of The Great Sea Sail Tavern, Noah Zeithexen. It's well known that 'Noah Anya' is an adopted name in relations to her parents, which leaves her real name to be shrouded in mystery till this day.Noah's a well respected Guild associate to the Grand Guild Hall, being the only Raen Guildmaster to open her own Guild Hall on a foreign land. Her forte isn't in exploring vast lands, cooking a mean meal, or even the history of the Eorzea, but rather the ability to make friends (without alcohol!). So don't be shy and come say hi!

BiographyA local Ul'dahn café owner who occasionally moonlights as a black mage for hire. Working as an adventurer and mentor at the Ark provides her with some income when there is an economic downturn. She is known for making awkward remarks here and there, but overall, she means well. Her expertise in black magic may come off as a surprise given her sometimes vapid demeanour. However she does enjoy reading the latest texts and treatises on the subject, being an above average student at the Royal Academy of Black Magic. Despite her academic background, it is rumoured that the source of her magical prowess may actually be otherworldy in nature.

BiographyThe resident old man of Noah’s Ark. Educated in Saint Endalim Scholasticate, he left Ishgard to spread the word of Halone to foreign lands, though secretly he will admit that he just didn’t enjoy being in the cold most of the year. He can be single-minded, often ignoring Noah’s lectures on being a better mentor to continue counting ants or thinking of enjoying his next bottle of wine. Despite his training as a Paladin, he enjoys his current idyllic lifestyle - often doting on his two children and taking up various odd service jobs in the venue of friends.

Guidelines

The below guidelines are just that, a guide. We believe everyone can get into character in their own way, and our main objective is to have fun. If in doubt, feel free to ask any of our mentors! With Noah's Ark, we aim to create an immersive roleplaying venue and experience. Once inside the Ark, we hope that you can get into character. The objective of participating in immersive roleplay is myriad. For example, to create long-lasting narrative and stories together, to experience characters and situations otherwise impossible, or just to enjoy the fun of it.What does immersive roleplaying mean? We believe that there are many definitions of roleplaying. We aren't here to define it, but in general, we believe a key aspect of it is to get into character. To have an idea of someone you would like to play as, and to act as them. The use of clear punctuation and /em (performing actions) are not mandatory, but may help to further improve the setting.Combat, interactions, and challenges. With regards to combat or solving certain challenges, we will often use in-game dice rolls to determine the outcome. For example, if you wanted to cast a fireball at another character, you would first roll within 100 and the other character would do the same. If your result was higher, you 'win' and your desired outcome occurs, and vice versa.Out-of-character communication. If you want to break character, you can always use double brackets in chat, ((for example)). Lastly, if we find that you are harassing anybody in the premises at any time, we will cease any form of communication with you, and report you if necessary.
